Regular Savings Account
Your regular savings account is your UNOFCU membership account required for you to begin enjoying all the benefits of credit union membership. This account is considered your share in the credit union, making you an owner of this unique brand of financial institutions.
Minimum deposit of $5.00
$5.00 one-time membership fee
Dividends compounded daily based on each day’s ending balance
No limits on withdrawals, but excessive withdrawal fee imposed for over three in one month
Federally insured up to $250,000 by the NCUA

Share Certificates
Similar to a certificate of deposit (CD), Term Share Certificates are for members with additional savings looking for a higher dividend investment. Some reasons to consider a UNOFCU Term Share Certificate include:
Guaranteed or fixed rate of return
Competitive dividends on the first calendar day of the month compounded dialed based on each day’s ending balance
Short and long-term investing
6-month; 1, 2, 3, & 5-year terms
Low initial opening deposit
$300 minimum balance

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
One of the best ways to secure your financial future for your retirement or education is to open an IRA (Individual Retirement Account).
Traditional
Compensation-earning individuals under age 70½ or those whose spouses are compensated may contribute
Individuals receiving compensation from a qualified retirement plan may move proceeds to an IRA
Deposits may be federal tax-exempt until withdrawal during retirement. Your individual tax situation may vary
Money may be deducted from taxable gross income under certain criteria

Roth
Contribution made with after-tax dollars
Withdrawals are tax-free, provided you conform to plan requirements
