Our credit union provides you with competitively priced banking products, great personal service, and five on-campus ATMs.

Current & Transfer Students:

To open your account, stop by and meet us in person or CLICK THROUGH HERE to complete your online app.

You will need:

  • Class Schedule

  • Student ID 

  • Driver’s License or Valid Passport 

  • Social Security Card (if available)

  • $5.00 membership fee is waived for all Incoming Students & Transfer Students

International Students:

Below is a list of the documentation needed to open your UNOFCU account. Apply for a UNOFCU membership ONLY IF you are currently enrolled. Click HERE for your online app!

  • Passport / Student Visa

  • You do not need to have a Tax Identification Number or Social Security Number to open an account at UNOFCU. You can present your UNO ID or acceptance letter (must have UNO ID Number on letter)

  • Your Bank Letter

  • UNO PO Box or local U.S. address. 

  • Completed Certificate of Foreign Status W-8BEN form in full, including legal name, country, U.S. address, passport information, sign, and date. 

  • $5.00 membership fee is waived for all International Students

For our UNO Parents:

No matter where you live, it is easy to safely send money to your University student who has a UNOFCU account.

Here are some options for you!

  • You may open an account or be a joint member with your student

  • Your Social Security Number

  • A valid U. S. Driver’s License or other approved, government-issued ID

  • Physical Address information (P.O. Boxes can be used for mailing purposes, but a physical address is required for the
    online application)

  • Remote Deposit Capture. If you are joint on the account, you can remotely deposit by simply taking a photo of a check and send

  • Visit a Co-op Shared Branch in your area. Deposit cash and/or checks in person to your student’s UNOFCU accounts at over 5,000 credit unions nationwide

  • Already have an account with another credit union? Well, since UNOFCU is part of the Co-op Shared Branch network, you and your student can access that existing account at our branch, also

For Faculty & Staff

As a part of the university community, you are eligible to join UNOFCU. You may want to consider Direct Deposit so that you may bank on campus when you choose and have full access to your account online and remotely. Apply ONLINE HERE!

  • A valid U. S. Driver’s License or other approved, government-issued ID

For University Alumni

It is never too late to use a benefit you have earned! As a part of the university community, you are eligible to join UNOFCU. And every time you open a Visa Credit Card or finance a vehicle with UNOFCU, a donation is made to the University of New Orleans International Alumni Association UNOIAA. You may want to consider Direct Deposit from your employer so that you may bank on campus when you choose and have full access to your account online and remotely.
